Why it's the perfect romantic getaway 

Shady Hollow is a  beautifully-decorated 1 bd/1ba cabin in a remote area of Ellijay. The large bedroom offers a comfy queen-size bed with french doors leading onto the screened porch which is just steps away from the fabulous hot tub. The secluded location offers peace and quite with plenty of wildlife and distant mountain views. It's also just a few miles from the Whitepath Golf Course and one of the many local wineries. You can take advantage of the great shopping and wonderful restaurants in both downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Or if you'd prefer to stay indoors and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin, the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make that perfect meal or grill outdoors on our gas grill. Please note, while our cabin has all the amenities of home in a rural, natural setting, it's located in a rustic cabin community with dirt and gravel roads that can be narrow in spots. Vehicles with 4WD are not necessary, but the ride can be bumpy. To add to its quaintness, there are few street lights. So please keep that in mind when driving at night.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

All bookings are subject to a $90 cleaning fee, applicable $50 pet fee per pre-approved dog (up to two), and 15% sales tax (as of Aug. 1, 2022). Georgia now also requires a $5/night hotel-motel fee be paid on all short-term rentals (NO CHECK-INS OR CHECK-OUTS ON HOLIDAYS) Cancellation policy: 97% refund 30 days prior to check-in date; 47% refund between 30 and 14 days prior check-in date. We can attempt to move dates prior to 14 days before check-in, without penalty, but new dates are subject to applicable rates. NO refunds will be given nor dates moved within 14 days of check-in if dates cannot be re-booked.
