House Rules

We ask our guests to please take note of these house rules if staying at one of our cabins:

*No parties or events of any kind are allowed on the property.

*Photo ID is required at time of booking. Minimum requirement to book is 25.

*Smoking is NOT permitted inside the cabin, on decks, or on the porch. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or in the woods. Also please do not put butts in the indoor trashcan.  Smoking inside or putting butts in the indoor trashcan will result in excessive cleaning fees in the amount of the full damage deposit.

*People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property.  Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.  Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to above.

*Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00p.m. – 8:00a.m.

*The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

*Dogs are permitted ONLY with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed and pet fee paid. Pets ARE NOT allowed at The Rusty Goat. 

*Parking is limited to two vehicles to be parked in designated parking areas only.  Parking on the road is not permitted.  Motorcycles and trailers are not allowed due to space and terrain.

*There is no daily housekeeping service.

*Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle, located at the side of the house. 

*When using the hot tub at Shady Hollow or Mountain Heaven, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.  Don’t set temp above 104. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.

*The cabin is on a well and septic systems.  DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. 

*No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend 4WD vehicles during snow. Otherwise, 2WD vehicles are fine. We do not refund due to road conditions.
